Welcome to STEM Camp, Kitchener!

STEM Camp is a not for profit organization founded in 2013, offering up fun and educational summer camp experiences for kids 5-13 all across Ontario, including Kitchener. With summer camp Kitchener, your camper will have the chance to grow their skills in science, technology, engineering and math while having an amazing time!

Summer Camp 2023: Dates and Themes

Our camp weeks for 2023 will feature a great mix of new themes and classic favourites (including – by popular demand – 2 different Minecraft themes, each with unique programming!). Every week, we will have amazing activities where kids will learn things like coding with Minecraft (that’s right, Minecraft fun is included every week of camp), programming a robot, building models, doing experiments and so much more, all wrapped in whatever the theme for that week is.

PLEASE NOTE: Kitchener – Doon does not have camp the week of August 14-18. All other weeks are run.


5-day camp weeks:  $325 per child
4-day camp week (July 4-7 & August 8-11): $260 per child

Drop-off and Pick-up Details
Park in the church parking lot and follow signage to sign in location. Staff will be waiting to greet you.

Additional Options

Before and After Care

Camp hours are from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, but we offer before camp care starting at 8:00 am for $30 for the week, and after camp care until 5:00 pm for $30 for the week. You will have the option to add these to your cart when you register your child for camp.

STEM Camp Kitchener FAQs

Here are answers to some frequently asked questions about STEM Camp in Kitchener. We also have a whole bunch of other general FAQs, if you don’t find your answer here.

Centre Location – Maximum of 40 children.

Doon Location – Maximum of 30 children. 

To see if the site and week you’re interested in has availability, login or create an account. All locations except those noted as “Waitlist” have availability, and are available to register your camper(s) for.

No, the Kitchener locations do not have air conditioning. 

Typically, our counsellor to camper ratio is 1:7. In other words, there is 1 counsellor for every 7 campers.  

The majority of our counsellors are university and college students (some secondary school students are hired each year, as well). We also employ teachers who want to create an impact in the summer months, as well as graduates of teachers colleges across Ontario. A recent Vulnerable Sector Police Check is mandatory for all counsellors. There will be at least one counsellor present at each camp location with their First Aid certification at all times.
