SickKids and STEM Camp

sick kids

As part of our commitment to community and supporting STEM learning and work in many ways, STEM Camp has partnered with the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario to assist them with a research study called CALIPER.

About the CALIPER Research Project

CALIPER is a Canada-wide initiative working to help healthcare workers accurately diagnose and treat children at SickKids. This is done through creating a database of healthy blood test values, which doctors reference. Healthy children and adolescents can donate their blood sample to help us build this database. Your involvement means you’re helping doctors to diagnose children at SickKids and other children’s hospitals around Canada!
