STEM Camp is a not for profit organization founded in 2013, offering up fun and educational summer camp experiences for kids 5-13 all across Ontario and British Columbia, including Coquitlam. With summer camp Coquitlam, your camper will have the chance to grow their skills in science, technology, engineering and math while having an amazing time!
We’re ready to have some fun in summer 2024!
Our summer camp weeks for 2024 will feature a great mix of new themes and classic favourites (including – by popular demand – 2 different Minecraft themes, each with unique programming!). Every week, we will have amazing activities where kids will learn things like coding with Minecraft (that’s right, Minecraft fun is included every week of camp), programming a robot, building models, doing experiments and so much more, all wrapped in whatever the theme for that week is.

Typically, our counsellor to camper ratio is 1:7. In other words, there is 1 counsellor for every 7 campers.
The majority of our counsellors are university and college students (some secondary school students are hired each year, as well). We also employ teachers who want to create an impact in the summer months, as well as graduates of teachers colleges across Ontario. A recent Vulnerable Sector Police Check is mandatory for all counsellors. There will be at least one counsellor present at each camp location with their First Aid certification at all times.
Campers must be 5 years of age on or before December 31, 2023 and must have completed SK by the time camp begins, to be eligible to attend camp. If your camper does not meet this age requirement, camp options will not be available for selection in the next step of the registration process. Unfortunately, exceptions cannot be made as programming and camp structure is designed for campers aged 5 – 13 years.
