Good morning STEM Camp families,
Do you want an update about next year’s summer camps and our brand new French Camp Initiative that is being launched for 2018? Wonderful things are in the works as our staff have been searching diligently for the best sites, working hard on creating new STEM activities, and making sure 2018 will be the best summer yet!
STEM Camp French Initiative
STEM Camp is excited to announce a new phase of growth by which all the same interactive, inspirational, incredible and memorable experiences will be offered to francophone campers in their preferred language.
STEM Camp is planning to open between 15 to 20 French and/or Bilingual locations for this coming summer #CampSTIM2018. These camps will be located in key areas of Quebec and Ontario. Targeted areas currently include Gatineau, Hull-Aylmer, Lac-Saint-Louis, Louis-Hébert, Marc-Aurèle-Fortin, Notre-Dame-de-Grace in Quebec, and London, Ottawa, Peel, Sudbury, North Bay, Rockland, Oakville, Toronto, Welland, and Windsor for the Province of Ontario.
STEM Camp is committed to offering services in both of Canada’s official languages and to offer the same opportunities to all campers. Campers are encouraged to discover and develop key skills that will lead to a greater future for all Canadians. The new Program Director, Celine Beaudoin, will be focusing her efforts to ensure the success of #CampSTIM.
Registrations for bilingual and francophone camps will be opening December 1, 2017 so be sure to check our Facebook page regularly. We expect camps to fill up quickly. Looking forward to seeing you this summer!
