Minecraftpalooza 2026

Our Minecrafters came out again in 2026 to make this year’s Minecraftpalooza event one of the most creative yet!

Participants logged in from all across Canada from March 16 to March 20 to join forces in the name of Minecraft fun!

Hosted by STEM Camp, this free, moderated event had campers completing daily challenges. It seems like each and every year, the builds and camaraderie just keep getting better and better.

How Does Minecraftpalooza Work?

At STEM Camp, we believe in empowering campers to build resilience through pursuing their curiosity and learning. The way we approach Minecraftpalooza is no different!

During the week, campers received a unique challenge, but not the way to solve the problem.

Instead, we gave them the tools they need, info on how to use them, and then allowed them to let their imaginations and problem solving skills lead the way – what they come up with is nothing short of amazing!

Monday's Challenge: Island Survival Adventure

Stranded on a mystery island… what will YOU build to survive? Create secret treehouse bases, pirate hideouts, volcano forts, jungle villages, underwater tunnels, and more! Work together or build your own epic survival base. The island is full of surprises and it’s up to your imagination to shape it!

Tuesday's Challenge: Castles & Kingdoms Quest

Knights, builders and rulers — your kingdom needs you! Design giant castles, royal villages, secret passageways, towering walls and battle arenas. Will your kingdom be peaceful and beautiful…or built to defend against epic sieges? Team up with friends to create the most powerful realm in all the land!

Wednesday's Challenge: Dinosaur Discovery Builders

Travel back in time to the age of dinosaurs! Build erupting volcanoes, dino habitats, fossil dig sites, jungle research camps, tar pits and ancient landscapes. Create your own prehistoric world filled with giant creatures and explorer bases!

Thursday's Challenge: Space Base Expedition

Blast off into the future! Build amazing space stations, rocket launch sites, moon bases, alien cities, research labs and high-tech vehicles. Create your own planet and explore the galaxy with other space engineers. The universe is HUGE — how will you design your corner of it?

Friday's Challenge: Superhero City Builders

Design epic superhero headquarters, secret villain lairs, training arenas, high-tech vehicles and action-packed city scenes. Will your city be protected by heroes…or taken over by villains?
