STEM Camp Counsellor: Job Description

Join our amazing team as a STEM Camp summer camp Counsellor for our 2023 season! Much more than just a summer job, STEM Camp offers you the opportunity to gain valuable experience for your future, meet great new friends and make a lasting difference in the lives of our future STEM leaders.

Why Work at STEM Camp

Have more than just another job on your resume: if you are going into a teaching field, pursuing education in a STEM area, or want experience showing you’re great in a team environment, being a STEM Camp counsellor can make a difference when you’re applying for future jobs or educational pathways.

Have predictable hours: you won’t be waiting for a shift schedule to make plans for your summer.

Enjoy evenings and weekends off: Don’t put your summer social plans on hold, at STEM Camp you’ll always work daytime hours, Monday through Friday.

Great teammates: your co-counsellors and others working with you at your site will likely be your age as well, and share your passion for creating a fun and engaging summer experience for not just the campers, but your team as well!

Have access to future leadership opportunities: We love hiring great counsellors back in following years, and in particular into Lead Counsellor or Activity Coordinator roles where you’ll be in charge of helping running an entire camp location.

Meet some pretty amazing campers! We are endlessly amazed by their ideas, creativity, and willingness to learn while having a great time. Our Counsellors always share that they learn as much from our campers as our campers learn from them!

"I loved working at STEM Camp for my second year!!! I am definitely applying next summer in hopes of being the camp leader. I had an amazing summer!"
